The USPCA National Association has a death benefit for all officers and Canines, killed in the line of duty. Go to for details about the procedure. Region 7 has an additional death benefit for active members in our association. An active member is one who is a regular or associate member who is current with their dues and has sent in an application designating a beneficiary. Monies will be sent to the beneficiary upon presentation of a death certificate to a member of the executive board. The board member will bring said certificate to the next meeting where it will be read into the minutes of the meeting. The president will direct the treasurer to issue a check to the beneficiary at that time.
